Questions
What counts as a page?
Each page of a document you upload counts as one page of your monthly quota. The count starts over every month on the date your subscription began, also on a yearly plan. A scanned or image page counts as 3 pages.
Why does a scanned page count as 3 pages?
Scans and images go through text recognition first, which takes more processing than a page whose text is already in the file.
What happens when I reach my quota?
New uploads wait until the count starts over (the date is on your billing page), or until you change plan. Nothing is lost.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. If a payment fails, your account stays usable for 7 days; after that it becomes read-only: you can still view and download your projects, but not process new files.
What about invoices and VAT?
Prices shown exclude VAT. VAT is added at checkout where it applies, depending on your country and VAT number, and you see the total before you pay. Every payment gets an invoice by e-mail with the same figures, issued by BV CHUT.APP (see the legal notice).
How do I pay?
Payments are handled by Mollie: card, iDEAL and Bancontact.
What happens to my data?
Detected personal data is replaced with tokens. Detection is not perfect: you must review the result before you use it, and the context can still identify someone. Storage locations, retention periods and sub-processors are described in the privacy policy.
